Warranty

Statton Furniture is a product of “The Master´s Woodshop Inc.”, which is built under a licensing agreement with the Statton Family. To that end, all items are built and finished in accordance to the same exacting standards of the Statton Furniture Mfg. Company.

We want you to be truly pleased with your Statton Furniture and to that end offer a limited lifetime warranty against all defects on all case goods except dining chairs. Should the furniture structurally fail during the lifetime of the original owner because of workmanship or materials, we will either repair or replace it upon our discretion. We offer a five year warranty against the following: dining chairs, finishes, mechanical and electrical devices (light assemblies (not bulbs), locks, pulls, hinges, etc.) Should these items fail within five years of purchase due to manufacturer defects, we will repair or replace it at the discretion of the Factory

This warranty does not apply to damage in transit or any defects resulting from normal use, misuse, neglect abuse, alteration or accident. Wood movement on solid wood furniture and checking on veneer tops are normal and not considered warranty issues.



Terms and Conditions

All orders must be accompanied by a 50% deposit with the balance due before delivery.
Payment may be in the form of money order, certified check, or major credit card. In the case of an error in pricing, the customer has the option of canceling the order and receiving a refund of the deposit or to pay the corrected price.

Statton will make every effort to accommodate customers, however because each piece is built to order, items canceled after 5 working days from the time of order will be subject to a 20% restocking charge. All cancellations must be in writing and all sales are final. Once shipped, any item returned or refused without written authorization from the factory will be subject to a 50% re-stocking fee.

Delivery

All prices are f.o.b. Factory, Hagerstown, Maryland. Unless arrangements have been made to pick up the merchandise at the Factory, delivery charges are an additional cost. The Factory will use its best judgment in the selection of a suitable carrier. Carrier charges are based on catalog weight, distance from the factory and whether or not in-home delivery and setup is requested by the customer.

Please note the size and dimensions of the merchandise ordered and make sure everything will fit into the designated area as well as through all entrance passages by a comfortable margin. We cannot warrant that a particular item will fit into any particular area of your home and therefore cannot accept cancellations on this basis.

In the case of transportation damage, it is the customer’s responsibility to file the initial claim with the carrier. You should be on the lookout for dents, punctures, flattened corners, short count, etc. You should note these discrepancies on the freight bill and have the driver initial them. Most carries require that claims for damages be filed on a timely basis, often within 24 hours of receipt of the merchandise. Do not throw away packing materials or inner packaging, which would be required for inspection.

Customers may make arrangements to pick up merchandise at the factory if they choose to do so. In such cases, Maryland state taxes are applicable for all merchandise picked up by the customer or his agent at the factory. We recommend that customers carefully inspect the merchandise before it is released. Any damage or defects is the responsibility of the customer once the merchandise has been released by the Factory.
